Holy Windy

There were really nice tidepools at Scarbourgh Beach.  This was a quiet sleepy little town.  Not much there but what was there was pleasant.  Signs indicated this was a conservation village, not sure what that means though.

The cute traveling couple on the way to Cape Point Lighthouse with the Cape of Good Hope in the background.  Yes it was crazy windy.  My guess is sustained winds of 50 MPH with gusts over 60 MPH.  The wind was throwing me (Brian) around and I weigh 180 pounds.  We were leaning pretty far into the wind just to make forward progress.  It was pretty hardcore out there.

One has to be cautious of the local wildlife.  Unfortunately we only saw a handful of Baboons while driving and were unable to get any photos.  We really wanted to see Baboons.  I think they were smart and stayed away due to the wind.
After Cape Point we visited Boulders Beach.  Sight of African Penguins chillin' on an amazing beach.

Final picture taken near the base of the Table Mountain Cable Car.  The operation was shut down for the day due to the winds.  We will try again tomorrow.  If not we can hit up Table Mountain at the end of the trip.
